1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.remotedsc.com, Remote DSC software, related desktop applications, downloadable software, licence services, updates, support services, payment services and all related products or services provided by Hetrim Innovations Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By accessing the website, downloading, installing, purchasing, activating or using Remote DSC or any related software, you (“User”, “you” or “your”) agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, subscription terms and other applicable policies published by us from time to time.
If you do not agree, you must not access, download, install, purchase or use the website or software.
2. Nature and Purpose of Remote DSC
Remote DSC is a desktop-based software solution designed to facilitate authorised remote digital signing workflows. It may provide remote access, screen viewing, controlled remote signing support, file transfer, shared folder-based document movement, LAN usage, licence verification, updates and technical support.
Remote DSC is intended for professionals and organisations such as CAs, CSs, tax consultants, cost accountants, legal professionals, trademark consultants, labour law consultants, corporates, firms and authorised users.
Remote DSC is not a Certifying Authority, government portal, digital signature issuing agency, GST portal, Income Tax portal, MCA portal or replacement for any statutory filing system.
3. Legal Use and User Responsibility
Remote DSC shall be used only for lawful, authorised and consent-based digital signing workflows. The User shall ensure that:
- the DSC holder has given valid permission for use of the DSC;
- the DSC token is used only by or under authority of the lawful DSC holder;
- DSC PIN, password, OTP, portal login and other credentials are kept confidential;
- no document is signed without proper review and approval;
- the software is not used for fraud, impersonation, forgery, unauthorised filing or illegal signing;
- the User complies with applicable laws, government portal rules, Certifying Authority terms and organisational policies.
The User and DSC holder shall remain solely responsible for the legality, authority, correctness and consequences of any digital signing activity performed using the software.
4. Licence to Use Software
Subject to payment of applicable fees and compliance with these Terms, the Company grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use Remote DSC software for authorised professional or business purposes.
The software is licensed and not sold. The User does not acquire ownership of the software, source code, design, trade name, copyright, trademark, logo, database, licence system, website content or any intellectual property belonging to the Company.
5. Product Versions and Licence Plans
Remote DSC may be offered in different versions or plans, including Remote DSC Holder, Remote DSC User, LAN Server, LAN Client, free, trial, paid, yearly, promotional or customised plans, and any other module introduced by the Company.
Each licence shall be subject to the selected plan, number of permitted users, devices, licence period, payment status and usage restrictions. The Company may modify, discontinue, rename, upgrade or restructure any plan or feature at its discretion.
6. Account Registration and User Information
The User may be required to provide contact details, billing details, organisation information, GSTIN, device details or other information for purchase, licence activation, invoice generation, support and use of the software.
The User agrees to provide true, accurate, complete and updated information. The Company shall not be responsible for any loss, delay, wrong invoice, failed activation or support issue arising due to incorrect or incomplete information.
7. Payment, Fees, Taxes, Refund and Renewal
The User shall pay applicable licence fee, subscription fee, renewal fee, upgrade fee, support fee or other charges as displayed on the website or communicated by the Company.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are payable in advance, GST and other taxes shall be charged as applicable, and licence activation may be subject to successful payment confirmation.
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy published on this website, effective from 18 September 2026. All payments for Remote DSC software, licences, subscriptions, activation, renewal or related services are final and non-refundable, except for the limited exceptions set out in that policy or where a refund is mandatorily required under applicable law.
The User is responsible for renewing the licence before expiry. The Company shall not be liable for discontinued service, failed signing, missed due date or business loss due to non-renewal, failed payment or expired licence.
8. Installation, Updates and Compatibility
The User is responsible for ensuring compatibility of computer, operating system, internet connection, DSC token, DSC driver, emSigner/emBridge or other middleware, browser, firewall, antivirus and portal settings.
The Company may provide updates, patches, bug fixes, improvements or new versions. Some updates may be necessary for security, compatibility, licence validation or continued use. The Company may discontinue support for older versions after reasonable notice or technical necessity.
The Company does not guarantee that the software will work with every computer, DSC token, middleware, browser version, government portal or future third-party change.
9. Remote Access and Signing Workflow
Remote DSC may enable remote connectivity between the DSC User’s computer and the remote computer where the DSC token is connected.
The User acknowledges that remote access shall be used only with permission of the authorised DSC holder, the DSC holder or authorised person must maintain control and supervision as required, documents and portal details must be verified before signing, and any signing action performed through the workflow shall remain the responsibility of the User and/or DSC holder.
The Company does not approve, validate or authorise any filing, document or transaction.
10. File Transfer and Shared Folder Feature
Remote DSC may allow the DSC User to place documents in a shared folder for transfer to the remote computer where the DSC token is connected. After signing, MCA forms, PDFs or other signed documents may be transferred back to the DSC User’s computer.
The User agrees that only lawful and authorised documents shall be uploaded, transferred or signed; the Company does not verify the contents or correctness of documents; the User is responsible for selecting the correct file; unnecessary files should be removed from local and shared folders after work completion; and the Company shall not be liable for wrong upload, wrong signing, data entry error, portal rejection or user negligence.
11. Prohibited Use
The User shall not:
- use the software for unauthorised digital signing;
- use another person’s DSC without consent;
- share, steal, misuse or capture DSC PIN, password, OTP or portal credentials;
- use the software for fraud, impersonation, forgery, cheating or unlawful filing;
- reverse engineer, decompile, modify, copy or tamper with the software;
- bypass licence validation or activation systems;
- sell, rent, sublicense, distribute or commercially exploit the software without written permission;
- introduce malware, spyware, keyloggers or harmful code;
- interfere with servers, licence systems, website or security controls;
- violate any law, government portal terms or Certifying Authority rules.
Any breach may result in suspension, termination, blocking of licence and legal action.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights in the website, software, source code, object code, user interface, trade name, logo, design, graphics, database, documentation, manuals, updates, licence system, content and related intellectual property belong to the Company or its licensors.
No right is granted except the limited licence expressly stated in these Terms. The User shall not remove copyright notices, branding, security features, licence controls or proprietary markings.
13. Website Use
The website is provided for product information, purchase, download, support, user education and related purposes. The User shall not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious code, scrape or copy content without permission, misrepresent association with the Company or interfere with website security or availability.
The Company may modify, suspend or discontinue any website content, page, feature or access without prior notice.
14. Third-Party Portals, Tools and Services
Remote DSC may be used with third-party websites, software or services such as GST portal, Income Tax portal, MCA portal, Certifying Authority utilities, DSC middleware, emSigner, emBridge, browsers, payment gateways or cloud/hosting services.
The Company is not responsible for third-party portal changes, downtime, rejection, middleware failure, DSC driver issue, browser incompatibility, payment gateway failure, Certifying Authority restrictions or any technical or policy change outside its control.
The User must separately comply with the terms and policies of such third-party platforms.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
Use of the website and software is also governed by our Privacy Policy available on www.remotedsc.com. The Company may collect and process limited personal, technical, licence, payment and support information for providing, securing and improving the services.
16. Support Services
The Company may provide support through email, telephone, remote support, ticketing system, chat or other modes as decided by the Company.
Support may be limited to installation, activation, basic troubleshooting, licence verification and software-related issues. Support does not include legal advice, filing advice, tax advice, certification advice, government portal interpretation or responsibility for completion of any statutory filing.

17. No Legal, Tax or Filing Advice
Remote DSC is a software tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, certification, filing or professional advice.
The User must consult their own CA, CS, tax consultant, legal advisor or authorised professional before signing or submitting any statutory document or form.
The Company shall not be responsible for the correctness, legality, completeness or consequences of any document, return, form, report, statement or filing made using the software.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and software are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, subject to applicable law.
The Company does not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted, all third-party portals will always support the workflow, every DSC token or middleware will be compatible, every file transfer or remote session will be successful, the software will meet every individual requirement, or use of the software will prevent all delays, errors or missed deadlines.
The Company will make reasonable efforts to provide a useful and secure product but cannot guarantee outcomes dependent on user action, internet connection, device condition, DSC token, middleware or third-party portals.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from unauthorised use of DSC, sharing of DSC PIN/OTP/credentials, wrong document selection or signing, rejection by GST/Income Tax/MCA or other portal, missed filing deadlines, internet/server/device/power/network failure, malware, user system compromise, third-party failure, user negligence, employee misuse, business interruption, loss of profit, loss of data or loss of reputation.
In any case, the Company’s total liability shall not exceed the licence fee actually paid by the User for the relevant software licence during the immediately preceding three months, unless otherwise required by law.
20. Indemnity
The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers, employees, consultants and service providers from claims, losses, damages, penalties, costs, proceedings or expenses arising out of misuse or unauthorised use of DSC, breach of these Terms, violation of law, unauthorised document signing, wrong or fraudulent filing, breach of third-party rights, misuse by User’s employees, agents, clients or representatives, or documents uploaded, transferred, signed or submitted by the User.
21. Suspension and Termination
The Company may suspend, restrict or terminate access to the website, software, account, licence or support if payment is not received, licence expires, these Terms are breached, misuse/piracy/unauthorised access is suspected, false information is provided, use may create legal/security/reputational risk, or if required by law, court order or government authority.
Upon termination, the User must stop using the software and uninstall it if required.
22. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including internet failure, power failure, cyberattack, server outage, natural disaster, war, pandemic, government restriction, portal downtime, payment gateway failure, strike, legal restriction or failure of third-party service providers.
23. Changes to Terms
The Company may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms shall be posted on www.remotedsc.com with the revised effective date. Continued use of the website or software after publication shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
24. Assignment and Severability
The User shall not assign, transfer or sublicense any rights under these Terms without prior written permission of the Company. The Company may assign or transfer its rights and obligations to any affiliate, successor, investor, purchaser or entity involved in merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of business.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and enforceable.
25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts at Vadodara, Gujarat shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website or the software.
